We stayed home all day and the kids didn't even get dressed.
Sarah's favorite gift was a promised trip to the mall to spend her gift cards.
Isaac was happy and content to build a castle, a helicopter, and a 4-wheeler out of legos.
Joshua is excited to try out his new skateboard (with "safety" pads and gloves).
The Barbie colony was replenished and Emma could not be happier.
(The colony was hit hard earlier in the year
by a puppy who chewed
every arm and leg of every barbie.)
Jason has seen the light on just how fun a nintendo DS can be,
and I am happy for the "Friends" I got (all 10 seasons).
We are excited for the week between Christmas and New Year's
because we put up the big table in the front room and do puzzles all week.
The kids have ones that don't take that long to put together and
then there are the 1000 piece ones for me.
We eat, watch movies, laugh, and have a great time.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

Sounds like you guys did have a great day. And the week between Christmas and New Year's is terrific too! I almost feel jittery with the relaxation! What can we do next? Shouldn't I be scrubbing floors? Homework?
